
This course offers a broad overview of what Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) means, the historical perspectives on GMP, the types of drugs regulated under GMP, the difference between routine laboratory work and production under GMP, and the critical path and steps to translate process development into GMP production. It also offers a focus section on GMP for finished dose forms as well as basic microbiology to better equip viewers with main contaminants in biomanufacturing.
